LODGING
We are located approximately 15 miles from Mount Katahdin and Baxter State Park. The cabin is 2 miles in the deep thick woods of Northern Maine in southern Aroostook county. We are surrounded by 69,000 acres of prime hunting, fishing, sight seeing and recreation areas.
The main cabin sleeps 21 people, a small cabin sleeps 3 and the bunk house cabin sleeps 4. We also have a washer, dryer, full kitchen with a refrigerator, Pergo floors throughout and a bathroom with a toilet and a shower! We use an industrial size generator to run the cabin. We do shut it off during the night when we sleep. An AT&T cell phone can work at the cabin. A Verizon wireless Internet card works up to camp too.
The New Cabin! It's located down the road from the main cabin, but still in the middle of the woods. It sleeps 6-8 people and has a full kitchen, bathroom with a shower, laundry room with a washer and dryer, living and dining rooms as well as a screened in porch! This cabin is being built right NOW! It will be ready this summer, 2012!
